From tap at Struwwelpeter 03.08.21. According to Untappd this cider served from tap at the Struwwelpeter Frankfurt may be the Mömbriser Goldtröpfchen Apfelwein Naturtrüb Cloudy pale straw colour. Aroma of apples and barnyard. Taste of apple peel and leather. Some bitterness is lingering on. A bit waterish.

5/8/2018. 0.3l vom fass at Struwwelpeter Frankfurt. Poured cloudy yellow gold with no head. Aroma of sour apples, with light soured candy and herbal edge. Light sweetness, medium sour. Moderate body, oily texture, very soft to flat carbonation. Likeable.

Draught at their restaurant in Sachsenhausen. Very interesting pale gold color, unlike most others in the area, cloudy too. Nose is apple, skin, simple. Somewhat spritzy, even thgough we ordered Pur. Tart flavor, apple skin, refreshing, a bit of sulfur and a light funkiness. Simple but tasty and refreshing. Said to come form a big barrel in the basement.

Cloudy golden with no head. Sour apples in the mose. Flavor had sour apples, wood and barnyard. Finished dry and tart. Nice.

Mild säuerlicher, eher trockener Apfelantrunk. Sinkende Fruchtigkeit, dabei bleibt die Säure konstant. Leicht herb, süffig. 8/8/9/8//8

Draught at the pub. Fresh sourish nose. The cider starts smooth and fresh. Mild sourish apples, fresh with a mild smooth body. Not too much sourness, mild Frankfurt-typical apples. Not too deep but refreshing. Nearly no sweetness left. The aftertaste is moderate sourish, mild apples, nearly no tannins. Fresh and easy to drink.
