- dark brown color. Tons of bourbon, raisins, brown sugar, apricot, oak and vanilla in the nose. Malty, heavy palate, semi sweet, alcohol well hidden, decent depth. A touch warming but for the abv very nice.

Bottle. Nose of bourbon, vanilla, cocoa, nuts. Rich and malty. Sweet and malty flavor, big bourbon, chocolate and nuts. Smooth and rich. A big, over-the-top dessert beer but quite enjoyable.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours dark brown with a transient tan head. Aroma is dark and fruity. Dark malt. Not burnt/toasty tho. Med + body. Flavor is dark malt, a hint of smoke and some nice darkish fruit. Delicious ale.

Bottle. Pours clear chestnut, small fizzy beige head, dissipates quickly leaving not much. Aroma is bourbon, dark sugars, vanilla. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, boozy bourbon and vanilla predominate. Medium body, kinda watery. Decent try, but its a bit boozy and harsh while not having a body to support the ABV.
