Can from Lawson. Not sure what is Californian, but time to give their new fruit beers a go. Nose is rather malty like a Premium Malts, with orange lying there underneath. Creamy, biscuits. Wheat comes through as well. Ah, coriander too. Gets a bit heavy and thick with time, nose-wise. Clear medium gold with a low head. Coriander comes out more in the mouth, with wheaty malt and orange peel. Now it tastes like a slightly heavy, malt witbier. On the sweet side, more than I want, but rather well put together on the whole. Rather cirps and refreshing. Not a bit witbier from a major, though I don’t imagine I’ll be looking for it again. This is far more Belgian and Californian.
