The Juice - a wicked dry-hopped pale ale - is the charismatic cousin to Super Fresh. Tangerine and berry notes explode in the aroma, and juicy hop flavors burst on the scene at first sip. Brewed with amarillo, citra, simcoe, and one of our favorite hops - Azacca.

Ridiculously hazy, perfectly opaque deep orange, straw and copper coloured body with some faint golden tints and a thin, fast-fading off-white head. Aroma of yes, orange juice, flowers, lemons, citrus, grass and some noticeable sweetness without too much else. Light-bodied; Sharp grassy and citrusey flavours show first with a lot of acidity and some light bitterness from the hops, but with a soft sweetness and almost no malts to speak of make this a lot hoppier and drier in practice, because it's off-balance. Aftertaste shows the dry citrus, fresh-cut grass and very herbal flavours throughout with a light bitterness, some astringency from all the grass and high acidity, but lacking on both malt and complexities. Overall, a fairly straightforward and dry, unfiltered APA that shows the bitterness from hops and the dryness with some fresh-cut grass, but very little else aside from the citrus plus the aforementioned. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 14-September-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 21-September-2020.

16 ounce can. Thank god there is no number 32 on it. Pale gold color has a light haze to it. Massive rocky white head. Fragrant citrus hop aroma. Lime, mint and marjoram come to mind. Flavor has notes of lemon, lime, kiwi, tarragon and file powder. Some juiciness in middle. Crisp dry finish.

Taster pour at Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival. Appearance is hazy, pale yellow without sparkle, 2-finger width foamy white head (though was end of keg). Aroma is citrus, resin, rye? Taste is dominant bittersweet grapefruit, bitter earthy resin. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with soft carbonation and bitter, grapefruit dominant finish. Overall, tasty but pretty one dimensional.

Can from Trader Joe’s in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent light gold with a white head. Aroma is fruit juicy, but something more - not exactly dank, but ... Med body or so. Flavor is fruit juicy, and there is a suggestion, but only that, of dank. It’s fruity, towards dry, juicy, and decently bitter. Quite tasty, tho the flavors are not super strong.
