Sample from bottle (Blend #2) at Hoof Hearted during the Party At The Gutt's vs. Quit Yer Fussin' - Dual Can Release event on 03/17/2019. Brown-black color with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and hops. Medium to full body with flavors of charred malt, dark chocolate and mild fruity hops. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draught @ the brewery. Opaque dark brown with small beige creamy head, mocha aroma, adequate carbonation, bitter mocha taste, bit of tartness, thin body, long bitter finish. Not bad, not spectacular either.

Tap at Mama Lor’s. Big chocolate nose, some soy sauce, lightly roasted. Smooth, silky, nice cocoa flavors, light, sweetened cafe au lait. A bit too sweet but easy drinking for the strength.
