Tap at Harenohi. Deep black, with a thick, low head. Nose of chocolate malt and milk. Light, malty, rich chocolate, nicely malty and not overly sweet. Good American mild.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours brown with Kira get glints and a slight head. Aroma of mildly toasty malt. A touch of earth. Maybe lurking chocolate, but probably not. Seems very lightly spicy - but maybe that's a little carbonation bite. Might be improved on cask or nitro. Except for the bite it seems to fit the style.

[2/6/17] Draught at Beer Culture in New York City. Brown. Malt, caramel, toast, a bit of floral hops, sweetish, mildly bitterish finish.
