Tap. Pours cloudy amber gold, small creamy off white head, nice lacing. Aroma is light citrus, pine, caramel, mango. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Fairly harsh.

Hazy deep gold beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with nice fine nibbly carbonation. Smooth malt base, softish with a little cream. Hops start with orange and tangerine, developing hop spice. Minty pine and mellow skunk. Smooth light finish with citric hop and hop spice linger. Usual Three Floyds effortless class. Very very drinkable.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 2 - 01/03/14. Hazed orange amber with a well appointed off white covering that retains well. Nose is punchy hops, bitter citrics, pine, bitter orange, mango, juicy citricana. Taste comprises a punchy hop bite, bitter grapefruit, mandarin, sweet mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Solid DIPA.

Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is fresh fruity, hop pellets, citrus peel, grass, citrus, lemongrass, leafs. Taste is slightly concentrated, hops, citrus peel, sap, hop pellets, grass, pine needles, leafs, lemongrass. Longlasting bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Very nice. (Blood fresh bottle flown in from the States for the event, instead of being shipped by boat and being boiled in the sun in the container).
26.11.2014, a not so fresh 0,65l bottle sampled @ BBGTC tasting:

Taste is slightly harsh grassy, old leafs, hops, citrus peel, pine needles, bark, alcohol, medicine, grass, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Bottle, 22oz. A lighlty unclear one, golden in color and with a dense, off-white head of moderate size. Mandarine, citrus peel, resins and pine cones in the aroma. Pale malts too. The flavor has a nice malty sweetness, with a suitable bitterness. Pine cones, resins and grapefruit. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Some alcohol warmth. Lasting bitter finish with resins, grapefruit and pine cones and a nice malty sweetness. Sure a nice one, although a tad on the sweet side. 140301
