This special edition of Free Rise, one of our signature farmhouse ales, highlights locally sourced Danko Rye from Valley Malt and Citra in the dry hop. A floral, citrus hop profile is balanced with subtle, crisp malt character and a delicate black pepper spice. Light in body, with a clean, bone-dry finish, Citra Dry Hopped Free Rise is a welcomed addition to our family of farmhouse ales.

On draught at Ale Arsenal. Pours slightly hazed yellow-gold with small white head that collars of miniscule bubbles and slight patterning down the glass. Aroma is funk and slight citrus. Flavor picks up the barnyard aspect in greater detail, with slight grain, pepper and a backing of orange. Semi-dry finish as well as sweetness.

On tap at the Fort Point location. Pours hazy pale gold. Bubblegum, lemon, estery, dill, floral. Medium body. Good.

Pours gold with a large lasting head.Nose shows heavy Saison farmhouse notes along with grape and peach notes.Flavours include more of the farmhouse notes along with some gentle tropical fruit and nectarine notes.

Every time I have a saison I feel like it’s been awhile and remember how much I enjoy. Pretty pour here folks. Smells fruity and grassy. Tastes of peach. Melon, grass, barnyard, white pepper, and bell pepper. Lively enough.

Can at the April Fool's DC RateBeer tasting. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, floral notes, light funk. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, herbs, funk. Medium body with a dry finish.
