This special edition of Free Rise, one of our signature farmhouse ales, highlights locally sourced Danko Rye from Valley Malt and Citra in the dry hop. A floral, citrus hop profile is balanced with subtle, crisp malt character and a delicate black pepper spice. Light in body, with a clean, bone-dry finish, Citra Dry Hopped Free Rise is a welcomed addition to our family of farmhouse ales.

Not really a saison fan, but this isn't too bad. Pours a rather cloudy, thing, pale yellow, with minimal head. Aroma has a lot of citrus fruit in it. Flavor is also rather citrusy, along with that odd saison flavor (is that the Brett yeast?). There's some maltiness and even a touch of the black pepper.

Craft Islington. Bottleshare. Wingman can, what a man. Very hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry and with good fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, mild creamy sweetness. Good orange and tangerine hops here. Trace of lemon. Piney orange before the light finish. Nicely hoppy and not too saisony!

Can shared @So Good (Rome). Giallo acida, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianca leggera. Al naso sentori di fogna, pollaio, note erbacee e di limone, leggermente speziata. In bocca è monocorde, sporca, leggermente dolce all'attacco con spunto amaro lieve, acidità leggera. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Probabilmente infetta.

Can split at CBC Islington, big thanks to Willis, 30/10/17. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white head. Nose is pissy citric shreds, lemon peel, damp straw, grains, light funk layer. Taste comprises bitter orange, lemon juice, toasted grains, light yeast flicker, sharp semi tropical fruit notes, orange pith, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Decent lightly funked up saison / IPA hybrid ... good balance.

Can at CBC Islingotn share - thanks to Dave! It pours crazy cloudy yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is pretty sweet upfront, rather fruit, juicy aprciot, peach nectarine, damp hay and a bit of spice. The taste is soft, sweet, oily, juicy, earthy, grapefruit rind, orange, tangerine, bit of barnyard, hay and grass with some juicy orange through the finish. Decent hoppy saison. Pleasant,

Can shared at CBC Islington 30/10/2017. Many thanks to Leighton for this one. A Hazed yeloow straw coloured pour wiuth a loose white head. Aroam is nice big dank hop, pencil, pissy citrus, onion,hop, spicy citrus. Palate is semi sweet, crisp ,semi drying, moderate carboantion. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, green hop, onion, grassy, mango, pithy juicy. rubber.

Can shared in London - big thanks to Wingman. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Nice aroma, some wheat flakes, zesty citrus. Light-medium sweet flavourbwith more dry wheat, lemon, melon, grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, with mellow warming booze, more zesty lemon, wheat bread. Really drinkable.
