Taster courtesy of Sander, big thanks. dark brown color, small tan head. smells of boozy, marzipan, nutty, earthy, dried fruits. boozy but decent smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of strawberries, berry notes, marzipan, bit nutty, earthy, very heavy. finishes lightly bitter with notes of strawberries, earthy and boozy notes. taste has some interesting and very drinkable strawberry like notes, but the beer is very very heavy, not easy to drink.

Dark brown colour, tiny head. Aroma has strong wood, caramel, rye bread. Medium-bodied. Flavour has also wood, caramel and rye bread. Maybe aquavit spiceyness too. Hides ABV suprisingly well. Ok.

Bottle @ home. Slightly hazy brown colour. Pretty smooth for a beer with an abv this high. Sweet, fruity, silky, slightly warming, low carbo. I like it quite a bit.

7 3 7 3 15 Bottle @ Nederlandse Bieren Festival Delft ’17. Reddish brown color. Beige head. Aroma’s: sweet, fruit, boozy. Retronasal its sweet, alcohol, sharp alcohol feel. Flavor is light heavy sweet, fruity. Full bodied. Long finish, sweet and boozy.

Tap at Nederlandse Bieren Festival Delft. Clear rusty amber with offwhite head. Big sweet sticky caramel malts. Big fudge and vanilla. Big sweet and light bitter. Bottle at NBF Delft. Clear brown with beige head. Brown sugar, alcohol, soft herbs, rye, fudge, toffee. Quite sweet and some alcoholic bitterness. Full bodied with soft alcoholic burn. Decent.

At libf 2017. Thnx for sharing ! Pours dark brown, small to no head. Smell is boozy, sharp, tasye is full, complex , rye indeed. Mild sweetness. Grainy, some booze. Not great, but certainly not bad.

F: very thin, tan, quick diminishing. C: dark, opaque. A: malty, woody, booze, raisin, red fruits syrup, herbal, raisins. T: malty, cherries, warming alcohol, red fruits, woody, raisins, syrupy sweet, oily mouthfeel, full body, low carbonation, alcohol is too much noticeable otherwise not bad, 33cl bottle from LIBF 2017 in Leuven
