A modern take on a classic American Pilsner, brewed with Pilsner malt and a small percentage of flaked rice for a light body and malt character. Hopped exclusively with Amarillo hops from throughout the boil and then dry-hopped with Amarillo as well for a tropical, peachy aroma and medium bitterness.

In 2015, this was Gibsons B Pilsner. Name change to Amarillo Pilsner in 2016.

Soft hops and light grain on the nose but too faint. Very nice crystal yellow body and adequate foam. Flavour is soft hops, a hint of vegetal. Smooth mouthfeel but missing some good pilsner sharpness. I wouldn't call this bad but I could imagine it to be so much better.

Sampled at Borefts Pre-Tasting 2019. Clear pale golden color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hayish, quite refreshing though a little more sweet than I had hoped. Not bad though. Solid.
