Bottle at Nederlandse Bieren Festival Delft. Clear dark amber with offwhite head. Massive sweet and syruppy caramel malts, bourbon, vanilla. Big sweet light bitter. Full body, oily and slick with low carbonation. Lovely.

Bottle. Dark brown muddy pour. Aroma has ripe fruit, vanilla, some cocos, malt, figs and caramel. Flavor of figs, raisin, vanilla, mild coconut, caramel, sweet red fruit, fudge, rye and a boozy fruity finish. Elegant and tasty, bit expensive though.

Bottle at home. Dark caramel pour, clear, with a tan head and light carbonation strggling to reach the surface. Notes of dried fruits, raisins, prunes, caramel, toffee, light bourbon, rum, vanilla. Smooth texture, light carbonation and a fruity bourbony bitter-sweet finish. A bit hot prbably due to the freshness, but other than that really nice. The flavour really develops as the drink gets warmer, with quite a bit of oak barrel, light sour cherries, plum jam, some strawberry jam. Bottle shared at Gekke Geit. Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma shows up the rum upfront with coconut, caramel, candy and toffee. Flavour is light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
