Sit down, write, map, plan,… now focus. Hazy beginnings, then follow through. Back and forth and around, but often the first idea sticks.

33 Acres of Fruition is a lemony, apricot fresh sour that struggles to see where the lactic sourness starts and the apricot tartness takes over.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lightly tart and sweet apricots, with a bit of lacto. Flavour reveals dry, moderately tart apricots, some lacto and a dry stone fruit skin finish. Simple but pleasant enough. Not a deep beer.

Tap at the brewpub. Apricot nose, a bit of acid, faint. Cloudy deep golden color, lacy. Tart apricot flavor, lactic acid, crackers. Refreshing and tasting, not so complex.

Pale and hazy. Thin head. On the nose, light fruit. On the palate, kettle sour and a light apricot. Yoghurty. Not digging the Sour character here. The fruit is just ok and it's not that complex. I think this is their first sour, so I wasn't expecting much, and there is definitely room to go up.

Draught at the brewery
Dull, cloudy, golden color with large bubbles. Light sour and fruit aroma. It tastes like a common kettle sour product, bready, dry, mildly sour, some fresh fruit, no discernible apricot. Short finish.
Refreshing but easy, simple.
