Draught at the brewery, 3/31/15
Lovely pour shows a very pale golden body with just a hint of bronze. White head is initally full and recedes to cover slowly. Clarity is high with plentiful carbonation in the liquid.
Pretty even on the hop/malt apparency in the nose. None of the lush, juicy fresh cut grass and meyer lemon-like strength of a Franconian lager, nor is it aggressively bitter (relatively speaking) of the Northern German pilsners. Still, there is enough dry grassiness, light fresh herbs and touches of lemon to satisfy, while the malt has touches of biscuits and sourdough notes. Nicely dry from the nose, no flaws or alcohol.
Satisfyingly drinkable, it goes down incredibly easily, with very low bitterness, light lemon and grass hoppiness, and just a hint of pils malt sweetness. A touch of graininess, just slight, but a bit out of place is noteable. Very light body, dry and extremely attenuated, though no astringency comes forth. Clean and well-done overall.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear yellow with a foamy white head. The nose has nice cereal and biscuits. Some straw, ripe lemon, berries. Light to medium sweet with pale white bread, low bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with sugary biscuits, subtle lemon, hay. Nice beer.
