Smell of straw, some spice. Amber colour, white head. Aroma of hops, straw, some spices, clove. Faint citrus in finish. Lively carbon. Medium bitter, medium sour. Challenging, but good.

Strong spiciness, clove? Nice saison feel but not so easy drinking.
One more time:
Dunno what happened last time but this is really nice. Light strawberry and cream, hops work really well.

Zumona Ibuki Hop Saison Tap at a festival in Kyoto Art Center near Shijo. 500¥ spicy cloudy be and wheat aroma, medium bodied with a rough chewy wheat character, the taste has cloves and spices. Rough around the edges but ok, better than I expected from Zumona. Looks like it's improved over the 2017 version, who knows maybe 2019 may even start to edge into the good-above average range.

Draught at the Ichinoseki Beer Fest 2017. Cloudy orange with lace. Phenolic nose, oranges, peaches, biscuits. Very spicy, yeasty flavor, phenols, a bit astringent in the finish. Oily, minerally and a bit rough. Need to work with this yeast a bit.
