Tap at Takumiya, back after many years. Flat black color with some lace. Nose is chocolate and soy sauce. Rather flat body, nice chocolate flavor, tingly hop finish. Decent enough but not very exciting.

Black with a firm, deep tan head. Lovely looking. Roasted malts, light molasses, chocolate, cocoa powder, and a touch of dark fruits. Full bodied. Roasted malts, chocolate, light milk, some molasses, cocoa, and dark ripened fruit in the way back. A surprisingly nice beer. I wish I had picked up two, actually.
