Vintage 2017. On tap at Weathered, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out subdued wild yeast, a bit of oak, some wine barrels, and then more earthy funk. Flavour is along the same lines, with a very vinous character, some tartness, oak, and a nice grape-like tang. Much stronger than the nose suggests. Excellent.

On tap A nice soft sour but hard to qualify in the midst of so many other offerings. Quite nice but not too impressive and overrated due to lineage.

375 c&c from the Venice Venue. Pours hazy dark gold with a quite transient white head. Aroma is yeasty with pale stone fruit. Med body or so. Flavor is mildly yeasty, mildly funky, gets oak notes, earthy/tannic, a touch floral. The one specific flavor I can nail down: dried apricot - even has that supporting twinge in the flavor. This is a very easy drinking sour. Even tho "imperial" in strength, and without heavy malt for disguise, the heat issue is questionable. There's a feeling in the gullet, but ... I approached this in fear and trembling, but it's smooth and very lightly acidic.

Bottle. Brilliant gold, honey-like, with lace. Nose is grapes, oak, buttery oaked white wine, lemon, some horse blanket. Tart, wine-like flavor, some buttery oak, kind of like a wild yeast Chablis. Moderately sour, some pineapple and peach notes, with a tingly, peppery finish. Lovely stuff.

Bottle [from trade but totally forgot with whom, my apologies!] shared with Countbeer and Thompson. Unclear orangy color, no head. Smell and taste citrus peel, quite sour, fruitpeel sour. Pretty sour and a bit too much for me.
