Tap at Keyaki. Orange lemon and pineapple squash aroma. Taste is bitter and that's about it. Juicy elements, but really not sure. Very flat and looks a bit nasty.

Draught @ Tokyo Edo Week at Ueno Park. Pours slightly hazy orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fruits, tropical notes, pine and citrus. Taste is fruity, slightly juicy and tropical with some pine, citrus and caramely malts. Finish is sweetish, fruity and tropical hoppy. Okay, but not quite a proper NEIPA.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2017. Oily, ugly, flat orange color, looks like honey. Nose is orange and peach, biscuit, pepper. Oily and peppery, slick, creamy and messy. A big miss on their first try at the NE style. Nothing works.

juicy apricots and mandarins in the nose, which isn’t all that bad. The mouth tastes like unfermented wort, sour lactic and rotten fruit. Some hops, but fuckin horrible. I was looking for a place to spit this beer out at Keyaki beer festival but unfortunately ended up drinking it.

Does not look very hazy. More like amber-golden. Nice fresh herbal hops in the nose, grass and pine needles. Sweeter malt character in the back. Taste is hoppy but not sure if this hop is really the best chosen, grassy and earthy, bit skunky. Citrus there, also herbal bitterness. I could drink it alright but not really NE style.
