Bottle. Nice aroma of grape, fruit, light sourness, something a little nutty and something lactic. Taste is not so good. Sour, creamy but neither in a particularly nice way. Further down, fruity and sweet, but sweaty. Not for me.

Bottle. Glowing orange-red-brown with lace. Caramel nose, cherry, vanilla, wood. Sweet cherry and caramel flavor, vanilla, yogurt. Woody, peppery, prickly finish. A bit too sweet. Very good carbonation on this one. This is the best sour beer in this under-whelming series.

This bottle was tough to open but when the cork finally came out it did so with a pop and poured a deep brown with reddish accents and a thick beige head. The aroma is bready, molasses, a bit of sharp boozy heat and just hints of tartness. The taste is tannic, oaky, molasses, prune, acidity, cocoa and a bit tangy. Pretty good.

Pours brown with just a bit of beige foam. Aroma has some sweet bourbon, reminds me these iris candies I used to have as a kid. There is also some sourness going on in the taste, not too much so. Alcohol also definitely there in the taste. Nice bitter overall feel. Very nicely balanced with a warming finish. Vanilla and oak. Berries.

Dirty brown color that doesn’t look good. Huge nose that smells like your are in a sauna, with aniseed, vanilla beans coriander and massively sour. Hugely sour, with dark fruit, green apples, aniseed, great depth and amazing balance. Alcohol well hidden. Superb and the best of the series
