TDM 1874 Brown Porter 5% Deep cola brown verging on black with a thick rocky beige topping of foam that leaves impressive lacing behind. Super roasty and cocoa aroma. Silky smooth medium to light body with chewy malts and big toasted cocoa malt flavor. Very satisfying.

Draft at TDM 1874 brewery. Pours a deep brown with a finger of off-white head that dissipates. Lovely chocolate aromas with some light toasted vanilla and almost hazelnut aromas in there as well. Again, good amount of chocolate taste on the palate as well. Highly drinkable with great balance.

Nice. Roasty, light sweetness, good stuff.

Pitch black color. Big chocolates nose with tons of dry dog food, tobacco and chcOclate. Light dry and slightly acrid. A benchmark for brown porter. Amazing and tweaked since a year ago

Tap @ TDM 1874 tap-takeover @ Wurst Haus. Pours average brown, not foamy as it's filled to the brink. Nose has some light roast, even coffee, caramel. Light bitterness. Taste has medium roast, light roasted coffee beans, berries and touch of sour notes. Easygoing light porter.

Tap at the brewpub. Chocolate, spicy hops, pepper, and a bit of coffee in the nose. Dark brown, a bit cloudy. Flavor is chocolate, light roast, creamy or milky. Rather dry and somewhat nutty. Reliable porter. Many batches later, this has become a great one. Rich but not heavy, lovely flavors.
