MELON HOPPY
– INFINITE SUMMER ALE –
This gently ale has an extra soft but prominent hop aroma, mainly arising from mash-hopping, a technique in which the hop is added early in the brewing process, directly with the malts.
Drink this ale at any moment of the day, but preferable in the sun. Let the summer begin!

Draft @ UBF 2017. Hazy amber to red color. Off white head. Aroma’s: fruity, yeasty, caramel malt. Retronasal it’s fruity, sweetish, caramel malts, a bit herbal. Flavor is light sweet, light fruity sour. Light bodied. Short finish. OK, but not very outspoken.

Sample at the Hague beer festival. Thin ring off white head. Very hazy amber pour. Easy drinking.

Sampled at Week van het Nederlandse bier festival, Den Haag 2017. Cloudy orange brown with a small tan head. Aroma of bread, malt, yeast and light cardboard with light hoppy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at NBPF. Murky amber with small beige head. Some caramel, oatmeal pudding, couscous, dried fruit pudding, light herbal hops. Light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with watery feel. Very strange.

Sampled at Week van Het NL Bier 2017 @ Grote Kerk Den Haag. Murky brownish amber with thin offwhite head. Sweet malts, grain, hard to place fruitiness, breadpudding. Under medium sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body, bit watery and very dry. Sampled @ NL Speciaalbier Festival Den Bosch 2017. Opaque red color, small white head. Smell and taste both have malts, nice hoppiness, lightly bitter and quite dry. Decent body and carbonation. Funny beer.
