Bottle from Seijo. nice nose, caramel, chocolate, light vanilla and whiskey, not too overpowering. Pretty hazy dark brown with a high, tight head that quickly goes to lace. Semi-sweet, but finishing dry, spicy, chocolate and caramel, good level of barrel. Rather stark bitterness. Raisins, plums, bit of citrus, nice flavors. Not too heavy, but full, nice prickly carbonation. Slightly peppery finish. Very nice, with high drinkability.

Alcoholic nose with good roasted malt, chocolate malt, molasses and raisins with some brown sugar. Nose reminds me of a Old Ale. The mouth is very rounded. Low carbonation. Whiskey is minimal but pretty much what I was expecting.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av karamell, vanilj, kanel, brunt socker, torkad frukt med toner av russin, nötter och ekfat. Fin kropp, lagom maltsötma, rund och len, bra aromer, liten kolsyra, något torr, fin beska. Gott!

bottle - Pours dark brown and smells of caramel malt and oak. The flavor is sweet with caramel, wood, a touch of dark fruit and some balancing hop bitterness. I’m not really tasting any whiskey, but it’s an enjoyable beer.

On tap at the pib. Pours a clear brown color with a large beige head. A big sweet malty nuttty nose. The flavor is big sweet toffee, prune, hazelnut, big chocolate. Solid. Very good.

On tap at the Yard at Mission Rock. It pours a dark brown color with a light tan head. The aroma has some fruity plum, freshly baked donuts and hints of bubble gum. The flavor is woody and fruity with plum and bubble gum. Hints of tobacco leaf and banana. Pretty interesting. It has strong earthy/floral bitterness in the finish. Full bodied. A nice, interesting brew.

Pours mahogany-tinged deep brown into a shaker. Pancake head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Dark caramel, oak, mild pit fruit and cocoa aromas. Soft with chocolate covered dried pit fruit upfront warming to hot caramel before the bitter earth finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty woody caramel aroma with weak hints of vanilla. Fruity malty caramel woody vanilla flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel woody vanilla finish.

Flaska från SB. Rejält mörk brun vätska, medelhögt skum som snabbt försvinner utan rester. Bra doft av bourbon/mjuk whiskey vanilj, mjölkchoklad, mörkt socker. Smaken är okej men inte i klass med doften. Lite sött, kantigt och platt för att vara toppklass men ändå helt okej.
