Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Appearance is hazy light brown with yellow and orange, light sparkle with 3-finger width foamy white head with good retention and tons of sudsy lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, grapefruit, citrus and pine over malt base. Taste is strong tropical fruit offset by a resinous bitterness, citrus, malt. Palate is medium bodied with creamy, smooth texture, average carbonation and mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, if the flavor was as juicy and varied as the aroma, this would be world class. Still, very good.

Bottle at tasting. Aroma of piney hop, fruit, malt and caramel. Taste has lots of nice fresh hops, bitter citrus, caramelly pine and a bitter hoppy finish. Very nice.

My 250th IPA rate and luckily could make it a Maine Beer Co. Slight hazy burn orange pour not too much head. Nose is tropical fruits, some cut grass, and raw dough. Tastes of mango, light grapefruit, florals, touch of forest, grassy, dough, and malt. Fine balanced and juicy beer. Lingering fruit and ginger finish.

Bottle dated 3/16/2016.
This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy to ruddy burnt orange color with a quickly dissipating one finger white foamy head. Messy foamy lacing roams around the glass.
The smell takes in papaya, mango, bitter grapefruit rind and combines nicely all around. Some light sweet grassiness lightens up underneath.
The taste balances nicely mostly between the bitterness of the grapefruit but still brings in subtle sweetness from the mango and papaya.
On the palate, this one was about a light to medium in body with a fairly nice sessionable sort of feel about it. Carbonation feels light enough to allow crisp bitterness to hit my tongue appropriately for the style.
Overall, another nice AIPA from Maine Beer Company. I’d have this again, definitely!

Pours deep gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Tropical fruit and scallion aromas. Dry with sweet tropical fruit, resin and caramel front to back and into the dry, lasting finish.
