Draught in Denver: pours clear gold. Bready and grainy. Very light and almost watery. Fine. I guess.

Draft. Clear golden body with a short white head. Aroma of toasted malt, raw grain, biscuit, light lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Lightly grain aftertaste.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear yellow with a small, foamy white head. Restrained pale cereal in the nose, a little hay. Light sweet flavour with mellow metallic notes, a little dirty straw and bitter grass, more crisp grains, biscuits. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish, with more biscuits, hay, a little dough, grass. Nice helles. Really nice, in fact.

12 oz. bottle, from the variety pack. Pours clear, very bubbly, yellow, with a big, frothy white head. The nose is wet grass, straw, pine sap, and a light metallic twang. A bit sweet and grainy up from, with a mild and startlingly unpleasant bitter aftertaste. Light to medium body, hard, sticky, and grainy. This is a overhopped mess. Not refreshing, nor quaffable.

Tap at the brewery. Clear, pale gold. Biscuity, crackery malt nose with just a touch of lemony hops. Light, sweet, and a bit thin. Ok, but not quite right yet.
