Bottle: Lightly hazed golden-yellow with a small white head. Grain, lemon, slight apple aroma. Flavour is sweet and sharp grain malt with the apple notes continuing.... It made me think of a really beery cider, in fact. Even got to a bit of sour towards the finish.... Interesting and lively.

Grainy barley malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head and light effervescence. Lightly sweet lemon, barley malt, and very mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body. Decent.

Bottle at cask del Sholl in Denver. Sourced from the brewery. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white topping. Great aroma of biscuits, straw, mild grass. Light sweet flavour with beautifully rounded bready-biscuity character, subtle grassy bitterness, crunchy hay. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Crisp finish, with a clean grassy note, more biscuits and hay, pale bread. Excellent kolsch.

This pours a clear pale gold with plenty of foam.

The smell is of bready malt and quite a bit of fruity notes.

Tastes of bread, grassy hops, and sometimes delicate, sometimes more assertive fruitiness.

Medium body and carbonation.

Excellent Koelsch!

12 oz. bottle, from the variety pack. Pale, very bubbly yellow, with a huge, foamy, white head. The nose is lemon zest, bread yeast, and some light mustiness. Sweet and grainy, with a fairly assertive, dank bitterness. Medium body, sticky, and sharp. This is a relatively nice, fruity, crisp beer, but it’s overhopped, and too heavy.

Tap at the brewery. Pale, clear gold. Light lemony hops in the nose, with a bit of malt. Lemony, light flavor, some bread, creamy and sweetish. Ok.

On tap @ Prost. Pours a yellow appearance with a white head. Big hay, herbal straw, slightly floral, light lemon aroma. Pretty dry, lightly toasted grainy, grassy flavor that finishes pretty dry. Pretty tasty.

Tap at Prost - served in the appropriate glass - clear gold - frothy, well-sustained head - nose is clean malt sweetness, grassy hops, moderate mineral, but also an off-putting note of sulfur - light body, medium frothy texture - light peppery bitterness up front, followed by a medium sweet, honeyed maltiness - finish is medium crisp, moderately bitter, light mineral - decent brew but for the off note in the nose and slightly higher than expected sweetness as it warms.
