HEYDAY is an eminently pleasant Belgian-Style White Ale. Brewed with barley, oats and raw wheat, Heyday is uniquely flavorful for such an easy-drinking ale. With a slightly cloudy appearance and traditional yeast, it is a balanced, agreeable offering. Exuding mild hop bitterness and a nuanced body, this is the easiest decision you’ll make all day.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2015. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Simple biscuity and wheaty aroma. Light sweet flavor, a little papery, with notes of lemon rind, wheat, yeast. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish, some paper, grain, wheat, vague citrus. So so.

Bottle. Lemony wheat malt aroma. Clear yellow with a moderate, quickly dissipating white head. Light musty lemony malt flavor, not much else. Light body, moderate carbonation.

Bottle from Total Wine in Huntington Beach, CA. Pours hazy pale gold with a slight head. Odd yeast/spice aroma. Think some of the usual suspects are missing. Med minus body. Flavor is very washed out. Except for spice the flavor has escaped.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle, bottled on June 13, 2014, poured into weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy really pale golden with very little white head. Aroma is light lemon, light body, little carbonation, and little really small bubble lacing. Taste is grain with hints of lemon. Little flavor, tastes like some home brews I have had.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a near clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of wheat, a bit of lemon and sweetness and light spice. Flavor has lots of sweet wheat with some light lemon and spice underlying

12oz bottle pours with a pale gold body that supports a white head. The modest aroma offers up malts, grainy malts, apples, figs, hay and spicy Belgian like yeastiness. The taste is pretty crisp with fairly bright Belgian yeasty spices as well as apples and figs. Nice refreshing session brew.
