Hops climb up twine that’s just loosely tied to the trellis with a half hitch knot—and this Imperial IPA is just loosely tied to tradition. The Mosaic hop imparts surprisingly floral aromas instead of the more expected grapefruit-y notes. On the palate, complex layers of flavors might remind you of guava, mango, stone fruit and lemon, unraveling your idea of what an Imperial IPA should be.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: bronzed copper with a sly transparency about it, a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head slid off to leave some light lace.
Aroma: some grapefruity/orange/citrusy hop blend, light caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas together bittersweeet, mild finish of grapefruity hops and malts
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper, some smoothness but also some hop sting on the tongue
Overall: not bad, I think I could have this one again.

500ml bottle picked up from the taproom in Bend, drunk outside our AirBnb overlooking a bunch of horses. Pours super hazy gold, small foamy head. Aroma is fruity, almost stone-fruit, resin. Taste is noticeably fruity, had to double check it wasn't made with some fruit or other, orange and grapefruit coming to the fore, soft citrus nice resin, hop oil, alcohol seems restrained bringing nice balance and drinkability. Nice DIPA.

Poured from the tap. Very slightly hazy dark gold with white head. Citrus and light tropical hops with mild caramel malt, subtle resin finish with mild alcohol.
