330 ml bottle from an omiyage shop in Amanohashidate, northern part of Kyoto prefecture. Lightly cloudy darker orange or lighter copper, some quite persistent foam over there. Caramel nose, crisp and malty. Tastes also malty, light caramel and some light bitterness. Would have enjoyed some stronger hops there but even now it drinks OK, simple amber.

Tap at GJBF Osaka 2016. Caramel nose, light earthy hops. Cloduy amber color with a fine head. Decent flavor, ok malt, lightly hopped. Plain but balances.

On tap at GJBF 2016. A nice looking orange brown with a thick beige head and a mild malty aroma -probably served too cold. A lovely malt forward flavor: bready, nutty, bitter, but possibly a bit of diacetyl hiding there too so I’ll give it. 3.3
