Tap at Watering Hole. Twiggy. Quite fruity, but maybe too earthy for me. Aroma has pineapple and citrus. Taste is sparkly but there is a bit too much earthiness in there. Nice later on, but not quite sure.

Tap at Sapporo Craft Beer Forest. Great nose of biscuity pale malts, citrus including sweet orange, and tropical fruit. Rich, biscuity flavor, on the sweet side but balanced by great hops. Smooth and full. Great.

very juicy citrusy hoppy nose. So juicy ans hoppy. I could make love to this nose. Malt drops and hits the mouth and the hops just spread out everywhere with tons of tropical - mangoes and pineapples. Awesome bitterness. One of favorite pale ales ever.

Tap at Watering Hole (their 4th Anniversary). Pours quite muddy brown with a faint head. Does not really look too good, could be the bottom of a keg?Aroma has hops and so does the taste. Feels even a bit rough to me, hops are brisk but overall feels maybe even as IPA and not a pale ale. Went down quite fast, maybe should try this again in the future, hoping to get a different colour configuration.

Tap at Watering Hole. Hazy golden orange with a small head. Huge stinky tropical fruit on the nose with passion fruit and guava shining. Some catpiss in there as well. Average carbonation with a light-ish body. Peach and tropical fruit on the palate with lots of dankiness. Slight citrusy bitterness on the finish but pretty well kept in check. So drinkable I had 2 pints back to back. A wonderful Vermont-influenced pale ale. Fantastic. --- Beer merged from original tick of 4 (for) Smile Pale Ale on 16 Jun 2016 at 20:56 - Score: 8. Original review text: Straight Vermont juice! Great stuff, hazy New England look, flavor and nose.
