pale straw color. Frothy white head. Big yeasty notes with wheat and hay in the background - not exactly an saison in the nose. Light Smooth body, nightly tart medium low bitterness. More towards a White ipa . It’s ok

Craft Beer Kanazawa. Fruity, berries, quite herbal, decent grainy base. Nice strength.

On tap at Craftheads, Tokyo. Pours cloudy yellow, white head. Fruity, citrus, bready, spicy. Bit yeasty. Light to medium bodied. Good.

Tap at Osaka Castle. Light yeast in the nose, citrus, bread. Bright, glowing gold. Flavor coming on light a light Dupont, great citrus, clean bready malts, dry, peppery, tingly finish. Great stuff. Wish they would forget the blue beers and focus on stuff like this.

Johana Ore no Saison Masaru IPS 4.5% On tap at Craft Beer Holiday.
A nice orange gold with an off-white head. Big peppery and spicy aroma with a solid saison aroma. Bready, tart, lemon and wheat flavor. A crisp clean saison with lots of lemon. A cut above their regular releases and a top quality saison.

funky nose with lots of cracked pepper, lemon wheat, hoppy nose. Dry smooth mouth, tons of Belgian yeast. Very authentic. Big dry funky long finish with big estry notes. Awesome .
