Bottle at Kyoto restaurant. Seems this is a new weizen for them, made with their own malt. Pretty, cloudy, deep gold wiht a low head. Nice fruit nose, apricot, apple, some banana. Very fruity flavor, melon, citrus, apple and cider, clove. A bit too much apple, but decent.

Moku Moku Weizen 5.5% Bottle. A cloudy lemon gold with a thick eggshell white head of foam. Cloves, lemon zest and hints of eggy sulfur into the aroma give me the impression of a middle of the road Weizen on first whiff. Medium bodied with a good chewy texture and a sparkling carbonation. The taste is solid: wheat, spicy cloves and all good. A solid weizen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
