Can at Matsukawa. Pale gold, clear, low head. Malty nose, light wheat, cloves, banana. Sweet and estery, a bit thin. I don’t dig Kristallweizens much to begin with, and this is not particularly a good one.

Can from Family Mart in Shimo-Kita. Pours a crystal clear gold with a quick dissipating finger of foam. Banana, clove and band-aid and a medicinal smell on the nose. Boozy on the palate for 5.5 abv and thin-bodied. Not creamy enough and the finish is too warming. Weird and not very good.
