Tap at JBC. Aroma is saison like (!), herbal. Taste is pretty fruity, strawberry, light funk, grainy. Good stuff. Rerate in 2016. Bottle, thanks Davido. Nice, wheaty, some berries, light bitterness, bit of citrus. Very refreshing, easy going.

Tap @ Pigalle, Tokyo. Pours light cloudy golden, nice foam on top Nose is just amazing, sweet and fruity, herbal notes, and dry at the same time. Flavour displays also multiple characteristics, its light, you might say even watery - but has some light fruity sweetness, herbal bitterness and some yeast spices. Yeast is actually not that strong as I usually get in saisons, this one here is super drinkable and goes down fast. Still lots of character, awesome.

In Kyoto. Pours a clear orange yellow color with a medium white head. Toast, big funky earthy notes. Smooth, perfume, bready, a lot of flavor here for such a low ABV. Banana esters. Lovely.

Hazy golden color. Huge Belgian yeast, big wheat nose, funky, hoppy dry nose. Dry hoppy, yeasty funky, smooth mouth. Very well put together. Dry and lovely yeasty finish. Excellent.

New 2016 4% abv bottle shared. Thanks Davido! Citrus-forward nose with crackery malts and a nice Belgian yeast character in the background. Nice proper saison carbonation, more oranges on the palate and bone dry on the finish. Awesome stuff. More low abv saisons please, brewer’s who are reading! --- Beer merged from original tick of Saison on 03 May 2016 at 14:36 - Score: 8. Original review text: Light citrus and yeasty nose....Crackery Malta. Dry finish. Fantastic!

Yorocco Saison 4% Bottle hand delivered by my buddy Davido. A lovely orange-copper color with a fizzy white head of foam that leaves some filmy lacing behind. The aroma is very nice giving notes of dusty wheat, white pepper, pears and fruits.  It’s got a med-full body and a round carbonation that starts off round but ends with a prickliness to it. The flavor is more rustic than the aroma but still delivers a good balance between the malts and a fruity earthy yeast funkiness. A really nice take on a lower ABV saison.

Bottle. This version was 4% abv, possibly deserves a new entry. Nose is Belgian yeast, bread, orange, biscuit, a touch of spice and chocolate, some tropical fruit. Cloudy medium gold. Crisp, lightly tart, malty but not sweet. Very clean, dry flavor. Awesome. An excellent saison without any of the over-bearing character of so many non-Belgian saisons. Reminds me of a Dupont.
