The house IPA for Zeeks Pizza, this light, refreshing beer has a medium-light mouthfeel and a nose of passionfruit, grapefruit, guava, and tangerine. Zeeks was one of our first ever customers when we opened back in 2012. After years of support, and many months of R&D, Hop Tropic became reality.

Sample at the tap room. Clear amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually. Strings of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of grapefruit, grassy hops and caramel malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Tap at Hamamatsu. Citrus nose, tropical fruits, light caramel. Amber-orange color. Flavors of caramel, stone fruits, some tropical but not as much as the name would imply. Decent but not so special.

Medium amber brown color. Beautiful fragrant tropical hoppy nose. Nice malt backbone with a touch of caramel under a massive hop assault. Hugely bitter finish, with pineapple and guava just lingering. Very nice uber hoppy pale ale

On tap at Reuben's, pours a hazy dark golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tropical fruits, piney hops and crackery malt. Flavour is very fruity, with tropical fruits and piney hops. Really flavourful and piney. Lovely stuff.

Draft pour pint at the brewery. Listed as Hop Tropic. Pours a light copper color with a frothy head. Mild sweet fruit and malt aroma. Tropical fruit flavor as expected. Juicy mango like flavor, with a slightly bitter finish. Tasty stuff.

[3/1/15] Draught at Reuben’s Brews in Seattle. Murky yellow. Tropical fruity hops aroma. Dry hoppy fruity and “green” flavor with nice bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Very cloudy, bright mango, pi�a, toronja. Taste has a lot of rich pommelo, bright with a kiss of sweetness. There’s a bit of yeastiness but nothing too distracting.
