Absolutely nothing going on. The palest lemon hint mixed with water.

Tap. Pours hazy whitish-yellow. Some foam on top. Wheaty aroma, slightly tart, yeast and cloves, spicy. Decent. Taste has more coriander bitterness there as well, quite dry finish. Herbal bitterness lingers. Not very exciting but clean and clicks most requirements for this style for me.

Draft at GJBF 2016 in Osaka. A mildly opaque gold with a big coriander (celery salt?)and mild citrus peel aroma. It’s a classic witbier. Light bodied and very crisp it drinks easily and tastes super fresh. The taste is light soda bread, coriander, wheat and just a touch of citrus. Decent balance, I like it. Best of the three.

Bottled. Interestingly, mine was very different from what Tim had. This was a Wit all the way. Nose of coriander, esters, orange, clove. Slightly weizen-like esters, but the additives are clear. Cloudy, bright gold, lacy head. Creamy wheat flavor, spicy, estery. Rather sweet and just a bit candyish. Decent wit, though, and the best of their 3 so far.

thick white head. Cloudy white color. Very lovely clove and banana nose. Very authentic. Nice carbonated mouth with lots of cloves and eastry. Light body, sightly tart. Overall pretty damn good. Second best wiezen in Japan.
