They say you only Yolo once...so we threw a bunch of rare New Zealand Riwaka hops alongside healthy doses of American Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra. Notes of passionfruit, apricot, and spicy redwood needles. Bright and unique!

Poured from a 16 oz can dated June 09, 2025.
Aroma is hop forward with a nice balance of fruit and dank notes. Lots of passion fruit, berry and melon with some tropical citrus, grapefruit, pine and dank, oily resin notes. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes.
Pours a hazy, yellow-gold color with a large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs.
Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Fairly high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong notes of grapefruit, tropical citrus and dank, oily resin. Lighter notes of passion fruit, berry and melon.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid IPA. It's not particularly hazy which allows for a lighter malt profile. Nice hop.character in the aroma and flavor. Aroma is much fruitier while the flavor is much more dank. Not particularly hazy.

Tap at the Brewpub. Nose of biscuits, oranges, some peach. Sweet and fruity with an oily palate. Easy but tasty.

Keg at the brewery. Bright golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is dank juicy citrus, grassy, hints of woody, slight smoke. Flavour is composed of earthy woody citrus, light medicinal hop character. Light base grains with a little sweetness. Numbing orange rind on the tongue. Assertive clean hop bitterness. Palate is medium bodied. Frothy carbonation, little hop resin. Very well balanced and interesting IPA.

[2/15/15] Draught at Cellarmaker in San Francisco. Great aroma of tropical fruity hops, a bit “green” and piney. Flavor of “green” and juicy fruity hops with rather strong strong bitterness. Medium-bodied. Very nice.

The beer is a pale yellow gold with a white head. Good clarity. Looks like a beer. The aroma is big on tangerine and pineapple, which is right in Cellarmaker’s wheelhouse, but it’s also sweeter and more floral than normal. Big mango, grape, a little pear. Just simple malt sweetness in the background. Mild bitterness. Quite dry. Tons of hop flavor. This beer has nearly none of the bland bitterness of many hoppy beers. Crisp and light. Very easy to drink. Normal carbonation. A little bit of grassiness in the finish. Excellent.

On tap at the Brewpub. A bit hazy golden/orange with a small white. Very fresh aroma of pineapple, mango and light hay. Similar taste, also some cookies. Refreshing and nicely drinkable. The finish was medium bitter.
