Clear rather light golden amber. Thin fin white head. Modest Belgian yeast character a little sweetness and a little ABV heat. Really nice. Glad I got to finally try it.

RBWG16. Big thanks to BuckeyeBoy for sharing. The bottle pours with a hazy deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a near white head. The aroma offers up sugary cotton candy, some peach like esters and a touch of yeastiness. The taste delivers smooth sweetness that’s sort of pear and peach like fruity esters and then more sweetness to midway. I’m really not getting the barrel treatment here. Nice smooth soft sipper nonetheless.

Bottle at RBWG. It pours a pale yellow gold color with a white head. The aroma is bready with a little apricot funk. Hints of vanilla. The flavor has lots of apricot and some alcohol along with nice barrel notes. Pretty good stuff.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, sugar, fruit, wine. Medium mouth, vinous, yeast, fruity, light dry finish very good.

Bottle - Sweet, perfumy and grass. Clear gold with a small white head. Sweet, grass, Belgian yeasty boozy fruity notes. Effervescent, but barrel notes are not there.

Pear nose, moderate strength. Clear amber, thick head. Pear flavor, whiskey at midpalate and beyond. Somewhat vinous and dry. Green olive present without the brine. Medium body, fizzy, hot. Not my favorite style, but I’ve had quite a few examples that I enjoyed more than this. No off flavors, just not for me.

On tap at PreFunk. Chardonnay barrels add a nice touch to this tripel, some extra fruitiness. Clear and in assuming. Could use a little extra tripel body and head. Aroma is pure grain tinged with a little grape fruitiness. Slick and sweet, extra sweetness from the barrels for sure. Nice overall body and taste.
