32 oz crowler poured, shared by Tcon. Thanks! I gotta guess that this IPA has really improved in recipe Iver the years. I'm pulling it out of rating hiatus right now, and it's tasting really good. A mostly clean golden pour. Fading fizz head. Tropical fruit and moderate sweet caramel malt balance. Has a unique banana like note in there, which sounds weird, but it works for me. Thick body, creamy, but still has a pretty sharp bitterness. Moderately smooth and easy drinking imperial. Pretty good.

Draft at the brewery taproom, enjoyed in the company of bros during the RBWG 2016. Pours clear ruby-gold with a creamy, off-white head. Rich, ripe citrus in the aroma, with light caramel, bread, orange. Medium to heavy sweet flavour with notes of oily pie, resinous hops, mango, more orange. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine to average carbonation. Resinous on the finish, warming and a bit boozy, with some bitter pine and citrus rind, rich bready malts, ripe orange and other citrus fruits. Rather heavy handed but OK overall.

Keg at the brewery tap, 30/01/16. Lightly hazed amber to golden with a decent off White head. Nose is pine needle, toasted malts, bitter citric shreds. Taste comprises caramel malt, Mandarin, orange pith, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Decent enough old skool DIPA.

Tap at the brewpub. Nose of caramel, toffee, oranges. Sweet toffee flavor, syrupy, of citrus hop flavor. Thick, sweet, and syrupy, just the kind of IIPA I hate.
