Dark Matter took Cognac barrels and aged beans in them, then we took those barrels and aged Dark Lord for one year in the barrels. We added fresh ground coffee to the beer before bottling.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a lasting dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, heavy coffee, vegetables and cognac. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and smooth. 290815
