Can from Daiei. Drank from the can. Light biscuit malt and peppery, grassy hops on the nose. Slight biscuit and honey at first, but then a rush of peppery bitterness comes on with some lemon zest and grass. Lingering white pepper aftertaste...really hoppy for a macro pils. --- Beer merged from original tick of Nippon Pils on 24 Dec 2015 at 18:55 - Score: 7. Original review text: Nice bitter pils...reminds me of Bitburger.

Can. Deep gold with a medium head. Almost orange. Biscuity, malty nose, light grassy hops. Great malt. Rich, thick malt flavor, some caramel, biscuit, a bit of honey. grassy, vegetal hops. Full rich body. the hops don’t work here, they have a strange, vegetal and mineral after taste that ruins the beer.
