Totem pale ale Black Raven On tap at Fujiyama’s 1st anniversary event. A deep reddish orange pour with an off-white head. The aroma is spicy & fruity. Lovely zesty body very light & refreshing. The taste is spicy, lightly bready fruit. Light & easy drinking stuff. Good.

Draft pour at the brewery. Pours an oily copper color with a lasting head. Grassy hops aroma. Flavor is pretty grassy as well, with some bitter hop finish. Pretty standard pale, but tasty overall. I’ll take this over a lot of competition.

Draught at Mukilteo Lodge
Hazy amber color with compact head. The hopping is quite fruity (aroma), the malt flavor is lean, the final is bitter, with some resins and not enough fruits. Tastes old.
Nice but simple.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy amber pour with a medium light beige head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of hops. grapefruit and sweet malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent all around.
