Its complex aroma of oak, dark and sweet caramel, vanilla, coconut, cacao, roast, dark fruits and berries is a product of a complex brewing combined with the long maturation time and in the end of time spent in oak barrels. It will cellar very good, but do not go into decades of ageing..It is a sipper and perfect to share on a special occasion.

33 cl bottle @ Euphemos. Thanks! Aroma has rubbery tones and alcohol. Also mild porto tones. Flavour has rubbery tones, mild salty notes, coffee. Way too roasted malt here; bitter in a harsh way. The porto notes are nice though. Rated on 2021-03-08.

Bottle batch 6/15. Deep dark brown color. Malt, toffee, vanilla, bourbon and oak Dominating the aroma. Almost full bodied. Alcoholic. Toffee, red fruit, soft vinous notes, bourbon and vanilla in the flavor. Flavorful, aromatic and quite alcoholic but also Fairly complex. Good!

Draught @ 8th. BBF 2016 [ 8th Borefts Beer Festival 2016 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Bevog Hagger ].ABV: 12.3%. Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, virtualy none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, dark malt, laber larver, barley wine aloke, alcohol, moderate roasted - toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, barley wine, laber larver, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium to mdeium full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160923] 7-3-8-3-15

Bottle courtesy of Pilsnertest. Dark brown pour with a faint beige head. Big caramel, vanilla and oak aroma and taste. Big, bold with loads of sweet, burnt caramel, plums, oak, vanilla.

Tap at TCBW. Opaque black color, steady beige head. Toasted malty nose has vanilla, oak and alcohol. Full-bodied. Sweetish vanilla, loads of alcohol. Burning aftertaste.
