Bottle shared big thanks to Benzai at night before crazy Danish ticking spree tasting. Pours black with a medium sized thick beige head with good retention. Aroma of malts, roast, caramel, licorice, rye whiskey, oak, dark chocolate and tobacco. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a thick oily body and alcohol warmth in the finish. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared with kermis @ Night before crazy Danish ticking spree whilst planning to give Dean a wedgie - tasting. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized decently lacing light brown head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, balanced whiskey barrel, wood, oak and especially rye is there. Taste malts, again whiskey, wood, a hint of dark and dried fruits, roast light to moderately, moderate to firm liquorice bitterness, liquorice, rye quite strongly again, bitter. Medium to full body, thick texture, medium carbonation. Lovely.

This is the silver label, for reference. Bottle from Matt - thanks a ton man! Pours opaque black, medium brown head, dissipates fairly slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is rich cocoa, whiskey, vanilla, roasted malts. Flavor is medium sweet and medium bitter, oaky, whiskey, cocoa, light coconut. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Really good.
