Bottle from Tokyo Liquor Land/World Beer Market, whatever it's called this week. Wheaty aroma, light lemon hoppiness. Taste is biscuity, little bit of bitterness, some light citrus quite dry. Nice. Easy drinking stuff.

Y Market Table Pils 5.5% Contract brewed at Gotemba Kogen I believe. This bottle was picked up at Yamaoka-Saketen. A fizzy gold with a white head that leaves some soapy lacing. Sweet tropical fruit hoppiness in the aroma. Light bodied with a very scratchy carbonation. The taste is sweet fruity hops: peach, citrus and a dash of spice. Pretty nice.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a clear gold with a fine white head that lasts throughout. Lemon, white grapefruit, cracker aroma with some light butter. Taste is crisp and dry with some light grain sweetness. The diacetyl was present, but didn’t seem that noticeable, even as it warmed. Crisp and dry finish, but maybe would like a little more pepper I guess. Not bad at all though. --- Beer merged from original tick of Table Pils on 26 Sep 2015 at 23:05 - Score: 7

Tap at the Gifu Beer Matsuri 2015. Nose of lemon, grapefruit, biscuits, a bit of diacetyl. Sweet and biscuity flavor, citrus but too much diacetyl. Still not really ready I think. Golden color, clear. Good recipe, they just need to get the contract system sorted out.
