Dark reddish brown colour. Beige, creamy head. Buttery, roasty aroma. Smooth, buttery and roasty flavour. Very drinkable, a bit thin though.

Bottle (from Pivni Galerie v Praze): Dark, reddish amber coloured, thin, firm brownish head, a bit lacing; sweetish malty aroma, a touch of roasted malts, shy traces of molasses and dried fruit; mainly malty, caramelly taste; sweetish malty finish with a tinge of fresh bitterness; quite full-bodied feel for a 10° (ten degree) pivo; not bad at all, easily quaffable; a fine, malt accented brew, not too sweet..........

Cold in a pint glass. Nice purplish garnet, with small and weak beige head. Mild, ashy and chocolatey aroma. Somewhat empty palate, weak coffee and a touch of chocolate. Light husky graininess in the finish, which lingers astringent and semi-dry. Color me not a fan.

Pours almost black with some red coloring. Light brown head. Scent of caramel. This is a quality beer, but so sweet I could hardly drink it. The sweetness overwhelmed any other taste that might have been there. disappointing.
