On tap U tri ru?i brewpub, Prague. Clear golden with medium creamy off white head. Bready aroma, fresh malt. Sweet, malty, bread-like medium body, light malty finish. Some flowery notes. Quite full mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Nice.

(Draught at U Trí Ruzí, Prague, 22 July 2015) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of toffee, rye bread and orange. Malty taste with bread, rye, toffee, crisp-bread, a touch of orange peel and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.

Sampled at the brewpub as their rotating special offer. This was incredibly boring, barely worth the time to drink, but I wanted to try the selection so there it was. All their beers were pretty weak in fact, perhaps it’s the Czech culture but there could have been more of everything on the palate. So it was.

Rye special. Tap at the brewpub. Glowing, hazy orange-golden. High, fine, foamy head. Malty, slightly spicy rye, biscuits and bread, light citrus hops. Rye really shines in the flavor, spicy and bready, orange and lemon, grass. Love it.
