Sampler from Aeon Liquor Asagaya. Very yeast-forward nose with some pithy orange notes on the nose. Very tired on the palate. Feels old. Dry with some lemon and chalk. Light pepper on the finish. This one is also 5% version - and as I am drinking from the bottle, it does say Far Yeast Tokyo IPA 第２版 - which could be different version from "2015". Anyway, as others have rated 5% version here, so I am doing it also. Pours somewhat murky orange-amber. Not much head. Aroma is funky-yeasty - definitely more belgian than anything else, IPA character rather subdued. Herbal, green apples. Taste has this herbal bitterness bite at first, then turns somewhat maltier and grassy. In the aftertaste it is one-man show by Belgian Yeast, giving it earthy and somewhat "old books" feeling. Overall, not bad, not great either but decent beer (but not really an IPA in my book).

Tap at Beer Fes Osaka 2015. Huge dry hop nose, very grassy, herbal, leafy. Glowing golden color. Sweet, oily, a bit syrupy, the Belgian yeast comes though a bit. Decent.

On tap at the GJBF Osaka. Far Yeast IPA pours a clear orange-gold color with a hoppy blood-orange & lime nose. Medium bodied with a very dry finish. The taste is fruity hops, a bit candyish and Pilsner malts in the finish. A 5% IPA? Ok but average. Not sure who added this but the version I tried was draft 5% not 7.5%
