For an IPA to bear our hometown name, it better be potent. So we loaded it with our favorite American hops for a bitter punch. And with some over-the-top tropical fruit, citrus, pine and floral aromas and flavors, you’ve got one big Texas IPA, deserving of the Deep Ellum name.

12oz can. Big, creamy head on top of an amber-orange body. Pretty standard old school NW IPA. Biggish ABV, full bodied. Thick malts, nice hop depth. Classical, well made, enjoyable.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 9/5/19. Canned on 8/12/19. Slightly hazy amber, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of floral, leafy hops, some lemon and tea, caramel malt. Taste is tropical fruit, lemon, tea leaves, caramel, some umamiish tangerine, like maybe mikan or something. Medium bodied, low carb, low to moderate bitterness. Solid.
