Rare find, even in New York. Probably a reason. Lo-ball glass back at the hotel. Sulfur stink, too fresh. Not sure it's going to clear up in time for me to care. Hazy, pale straw pour. Odd plastic, melon phenols, lemon lime, iffy preserved flavor. Green chili, soda carbonation. Poorly done.

Tap at Kalahana. Very light coloured, aroma is apples, very fruity. Taste is similar but maybe a little light, little bit of funkiness, and quite crisp. Nice enough but didn't compare to the french cider we had the previous night.

Draught at Schilling Cider House, Seattle
Very pale yellow color. It’s quite dry, also rather weak, with not much cider flavor, and soft finish. Rather boring, but not bad.

On tap at Schilling, pours a clear blonde with no head. Aroma is very musty, with earthy dry apple skins. Flavour is along the same lines, with very musty and earthy apples and low residual sweetness. Too musty and confused to be anything of noteworthiness. Needs refining.

Tap at Imazato. Cloudy, pale golden color with bubbles but no head. Dry nose, apples, skin, minerals. Crisp and dry, but with nice apple flavor, and just enough sweetness in the middle. A bit of spice, minerals, and something like a savignon blanc character. Good drinking, crisp and nice.
