330ml can as Kraljevsko Bavarsko Pivo (5.0% ABV). Film-type surface over a yellow-gold body. Pale malt in aroma. Mild malty flavour with hints of dry, hop bitterness to the short ending. Fizzy (Dubrovnik, 24.08.2008).

Brewed by the license at Jadranska Pivovara, Croatia. Bottle 0,5 l. Yellow body, moderate head, diminishing quite fastly (nice sound). Strong aroma, good taste. did not like this one before exactly because of quite bitter and a bit soapy taste. Somehow watery finish, short.

(Bottle 50 cl) Croatian version brewed by Jadranska Pivovara, Split. Golden, slightly hazy. Thick, creamy head. Malty and quite hoppy - typical German Pils. 5/2/5/2/10=2,4 010604 (Bottle 33 cl) Swedish version brewed by Krönleins Bryggeri in Halmstad. Pale golden with a fine, small head. Nice, aromatic hop character but not very bitter. This is one malty beer of high drinkability.5/3/5/2/10=2,5 210800 and 040203

Rerate: German version bottled at Kaltenberg Adria, Kukuljanovo. Pale golden body, white head. Eggy, malty aroma, some mild herbal hops. Sweetish mild taste, eggs, hay, honey, quite a rustic pilsner really, medium to light body. Vague herbal hops around the edges, trace bitterness in the finish. Quite drinkable, despite the vaguely unappealing grainy aftertaste. While ostensibly better than most macro lagers in Croatia, Kaltenberg's pils is hardly thrilling compared to a lot of comparable German fare from the region, not really being pilsnerish. Nostalgia can only take one so far... Original rating, contract brewed by Jadranska Pivovara - 18.9.2004. Almost 14 years old. Wow! I guess that the version brewed by Jadranska pivovara in Croatia is a bit different than the original one. And reading the other reviews, I realized it’s probably better. The croatian version (really popular with the physical workers), has a rather pleasant aroma and flavor, with maybe a sweet touch in the aftertaste. 5/3/6/3/12

Contract brewed at FX Matt. Slightly hazy tannish colour...rather un-pils like. Caramelly, slightly nutty aroma. Slightly watery. Slightly hedgey hop note. Hint of plastic. Sightly sticky finish, watery. Not very good and not very much of a pilsner. The English version is even worse.

A yellow beer with a fine but disappearing head. The aroma is weak, but sweet. The flavor is sweet and malty with notes of hay and straws, and pretty carbonated. A fresh pilsener.

Pilsner above the average for a common bar in Italy. Light malt aroma, some malt flavor, light sweetness, honey note. Ordinary finish.
